Well, here you have a picture of me... crazy isn't it?

I'm not as crazy as the image seems to be... I'm more like the second one...

As you can appreciate, I'm in Cambridge. This photo was taken on my first day at Boston (and my first time in United States). I was soooo tan that day. My sister, who is living here in Boston, warned me to be prepared to deal with a very cold winter.

I took very seriously her warning and took a sunbath during all the chilean summer, so that's why I look tanned. Ok don't think that tanning my skin was the only way to prepared myself for the bostonian winter...I also bring winter clothes, take some pills for the flu and the most important... make the switch between the hot season to the cold season...I'm not in South America anymore!

And it really helps me...

Who Am I?

Hi everyone!

I'm Francisca from Chile (guess you ALL know where is it! :) and this is my first post ever.
Nervous? No at all! just a little stuck in the process because I think a blog gives me more posibilities than I can handle! hahaha but it's ok. You will see in a couple of weeks my spectacular improvement posting...

Right now my friend Fred (from France) is starring at me and reading my post...he can't hide a grin after read. He just says "Common!...just keep writing!" (with his lovely french accent...j'adore le francais!)

Actually, did I tell you that I also speak french? Just a little bit but enough to understand some conversations near me...just some of them. People speaks sooooo fast, and this applies to all languages...including mine. Some latin students say that chilean talk as fast as they could and they "eat" some final syllables so that we talk sofastthatnobodycanundesrtandus...

But...this is an English blog so we won't have those problems.

I want to share with you my whole experience in Boston and give you some advices if you are a new student or just a traveler looking for aid.

Well..

Hope you'll enjoy it!

Kika
